Cremia is a small authentic village on Lake Como with 800 inhabitants and consists of the districts Vignola, where there is the town hall, Somano, Vezzedo and higher up on the slope Samaino. The hamlet of San Vito with the cozy harbour and the beach is situated direct at the lake.
Cremia has several restaurants, shops for daily needs, as well as a beautiful beach and marina. For bulk purchases you can go to Menaggio or nearby Dongo (6 km).
Worth seeing are the two old churches, the parish church of San Michele from the 15th Century and the Church of San Vito from the 12th Century in the vicinity of the harbour. The promenade that leads to the neighbouring Pianello del Lario, invites you to walk.
The village Cremia is also an ideal starting point for hiking and mountain biking.
