The apartment in the newly renovated wing of the well-preserved Villa Rusconi from the late 19th Century, is located on the banks of the Borromeo Gulf, with a magnificent view of the famous islands, and with an English-style garden with direct access to the lake.
The approximately 95 square meters large three-room apartment LMA 2260 is for max. 3 people and consists of a large living room with sofa, armchairs and satellite TV. The living- kitchen with dining table and chairs is in the 17th century old former wooden barrel-vaulted cellar which has been modernised with a fridge, 4 burner stove and oven.
The double bedroom there is a separate alcove with a sofa bed and a cot. The bathroom with shower has been built over an old well made of brick and is a level deeper.
Outside there is the beautiful large private terrace with lemon trees, from which one has a view of the splendid gardens and of the island of St. John and Lake Maggiore. The island was the holiday home of Maestro Toscanini.
