Peglio is a small village at (650 m) on a sunny terrace overlooking the town Gravedona (6.5 km) with a magnificent panoramic view over the whole upper and middle part of Lake Como.
The village has two small grocery stores with everything for your daily needs, a restaurant (Falco) and the trattorias Tanera and Ines. On the outskirts of the village towards Bodone you will find the Farm Hotel and Restaurant Zertin located in a wonderful panoramic position.
Every year in October the "Sagra delle Castagna" takes place a traditional Culinary Festival in honor of the Chestnut. This is a unique opportunity to taste excellent local gourmet specialties, above all the chestnuts.
Enjoy the magnificent panoramic views while taking short easy walks from Peglio on a narrow, paved street to Naro and visit one of the oldest churches on Lake Como.
For climbers there is an interesting climbing garden at Sassopelo in the hamlet of Naro close to Peglio.
