Madesimo is located in a beautiful valley on the road that leads to the Splugen Pass about 150km from Milan. It is about 1,500 meters above sea level with snowy slopes, still dark forests and beautiful mountains, here you simply have to feel good.The numerous, well-marked trails in beautiful surroundings will make every mountain hiker's heart beat faster.

The romantic valley Val San Giacomo, which is in Madesimo, is considered a very snow-sure ski area with over 60 kilometers of slopes - A secret-tip for sport individualists. Thanks to their high position all of the slopes are rated from slightly difficult to perfect.

Madesimo is famous last but not least for the difficult Canalone-run, which itself is a real challenge for experts. Also for carving and cross-country skiers special tracks and trails are guaranteed.

Madesimo is a cute winter sport town, and in July 2011 a bike park was finished, it was built by a trail specialist. The park is named "Made4fun" and is a bike playground with 3 different terrain conditions and adjusted routes to please all bike enthusiasts.

Madesimo is only about 45 minutes from Lake Como.
